Standards for Excellence Certification
Our Nonprofits Have Standards You Can Trust.
Certification is an opportunity for a nonprofit to demonstrate its honesty, integrity, efficiency and accountability. This program of rigorous peer-review examines an organization's internal practices for compliance with all 57 of the Louisiana Standards for Excellence. A panel of independent, trained peer-reviewers assesses the applicant organization's practices and determines if they have met the Standards.
Benefits
Certification distinguishes an organization in the eyes of funders, supporters and the public, strengthens its board and staff and increases its capacity to serve its mission. Certified organizations earn the right to use the Seal of Excellence, a symbol that donors and the public alike can trust.
