Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge has received a $10,000 grant from the Liberty Mutual Foundation, which will help fund programs for families with individuals with disabilities.
Jamie S. Tindle, Executive Director for Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge said, "We are sincerely grateful for the support and involvement of our communities and local businesses in the Greater Baton Rouge area. They support our center so that we may continue to support the growing number of families and individuals affected with a disability.”
The grant presented to Families Helping Families was one of $1 million dollars in grants distributed to non-profit organizations as part of Liberty Mutual Insurance's 100th anniversary celebration. Liberty Mutual created the "100 Gifts” program as a way to commemorate the company's long-standing tradition of supporting the communities in the U.S. and around the world in which its employees live and work.
