LANO and the Baton Rouge nonprofit Forum 35, a group of dedicated young people engaged in improving and shaping Louisiana's capital city, will jointly host LEADERMATCH on October 2, 8-10 AM, a unique event designed to introduce local nonprofit organizations to newly-trained Board leaders.
The thirty young professionals seeking placement on nonprofit boards are currently participating in Forum 35's multi-week John W. Barton Sr., Community Leadership Development Program, a nonprofit management curriculum delivered in partnership with LANO.
The 30 soon-to-be graduates of the Barton program represent area industries, legal services, government agencies, higher-education, philanthropic and other nonprofit organizations.
Local charities wishing to meet and recruit these potential Board or committee members will have a structured opportunity to interview the candidates and promote their missions during the LEADERMATCH event.
To enroll a Baton Rouge-area nonprofit in LEADERMATCH, groups must register at this site by September 30, 2013. Registrants will be contacted by LANO and given more information as the event nears.
