Posted By Ellen Mowrer, GrantStation.com, Inc., Friday, December 20, 2013

The State of Grantseeking Fall 2013 Report is here, with additional details presented at a more granular level, including benchmarking tools, median award size, staff size, grant activity pattern and more based on organizational mission, budget, and service area.

GrantStation is pleased to share the survey results with you.

Highlights from the Fall 2013 Report:
  • In the first six months of 2013, 80.0% of organizations that applied for grants won awards.
  •  In this survey, 31% of respondents reported receipt of larger awards than during the same period in the prior year.
  •  Compared to the Fall 2012 survey, the median award size decreased by 8%.
  •  Funding from all levels of government decreased between 5% and 9% compared to last year, yet government at all levels increased as the source of the largest grant award.

We hope that this information is helpful to you in your good work, and wish everyone a Happy New Year!
