2014 Tri-State VOAD Conference
Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) is a nonprofit association where members share knowledge and resources regarding all stages of a disaster – preparation, response, recovery, and mitigation – in order to build more resilient communities.
The Tri-State VOAD Conference was established to develop a formal partnership between Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana that facilitates a collaborative approach to building the capacity of the VOAD’s along the Gulf Coast, utilizing current strategies and best practice to address the needs of communities in the area of disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.
You do not need to be a member of a VOAD to participate in the conference and we welcome those interested in learning more about our collaborative work to join us.
