One Shopping Trip Pays For Membership

Posted By Matthew Mullenix, Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations, Wednesday, November 6, 2013

It's hard to put a dollar value on the benefit of some things, but LANO membership isn't one of them.

On a trip today to Office Depot (a LANO member) we printed 175 programs for this week's 2013 Member Meeting and purchased assorted other materials for the two-day training.

Total bill?  $245.22 after discount.

Total SAVINGS with LANO Member Discount Card? $131.07

That's a 35% savings on the shopping trip, unless my pre-Common Core math is faulty.  The savings on the color copies alone was even more impressive: LANO saved 62% today on its printing costs!

So, what?

About one in four LANO member nonprofits pay $100 per year for membership.  Most pay less than $200.  This means a single trip to Office Depot with your brand new LANO Member Discount Program Card could pay for most or all of your organization's annual dues.

Go twice and start putting that money in the bank... What would your nonprofit do with an extra $131.07?

If you're a LANO member and want to know more about this and other free member benefits, contact Membership Manager Glinda Causey, today.

If you're not a member and want to join?  Click here!
