This is the second part of the two part workshop that begins on July 24th.

Does your mission statement need an overhaul?  Does it speak to what your organization is doing, why you are doing it, and how you are making a difference in the community, all in one or two short sentences?  Can your board members, employees, and advocates easily speak it when asked where they serve and work in the community?   What kind of impact does your statement make on the listener?

Every three years, organizations should look at their statements for potential revision. For help revising your mission and vision statements for your organization, please check out our Mission Renovation Workshop.

Organizations must attend both sessions.  You may bring up to three people to the two sessions but a minimum of two people, one board and one staff member required.  Space is limited!  The first six organizations to commit to a team and the dates will have a seat in the class.

Facilitator John Hawkins is the Lead Minister for ClearView Church in Shreveport.  His major was both communication and ministry, and he has a very passionate calling to make Shreveport a great place in which to live and raise a family.  John currently serves on the board of Center for Families.  His wife Jessica has a graphic design business and is a Centenary professor. Together they are doing great work in our community.
