2nd Annual Helping Heal Little Hearts with Michael Berry

The benefit for LPCF, hosted by celebrity radio personality, Michael Berry, features a VIP meet & greet, live music by The V-Tones, silent & live auctions, and concert by The Chee-Weez.

Popular radio talk show personality, Michael Berry, will again be hosting the 2nd Annual “Helping Heal Little Hearts” charity fundraiser to benefit the Louisiana Pediatric Cardiology Foundation (LPCF) on August 15, 2015, at 8:00 p.m. at the Varsity Theatre. A private VIP Meet & Greet with Michael Berry and former LSU athletes will kick off the night, catered by Stroubes. Live music will begin with the V-Tones, a full-range cover band of six Baton Rouge musicians who feature music from the 80s and 90s, as well as classic and alternative rock. A high-energy concert by The Chee-Weez, a five-piece tribute/show band of unmatched proportions will bring popular music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. LPCF is a Baton Rouge-based nonprofit organization that supports south central Louisiana families who have children battling congenital heart defects. LPCF also provides free heart screens for high school athletes in an effort to prevent sudden cardiac death. The program will also include a silent and live auction, featuring items of local interest, such as a guitar autographed by Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, guided duck hunts on the Atchafalaya Basin, LSU football package, and a framed print of the late George Rodrigue’s A Number One Tiger Fan.
