The Mental Health Association for Greater Baton Rouge (MHA) will host the 6th Annual Beat the Odds Casino Night & Silent Auction at 6:30 pm on Thursday, May 12. This event will be held at The Barn at Magnolia Mound. Grab your cowboy boots and hat because the attire is Country Casual. Attendees will enjoy an evening at the gaming tables (with play money, of course), food, cocktails, live music, and a silent auction.

To celebrate May as Mental Health Month, the Mental Health Association for Greater Baton Rouge will hold its 6th annual Beat the Odds Casino Night and Silent Auction on May 12 at The Barn at Magnolia Mound.

 

Honorary Chairs are Dr. and Mrs. William “Beau” Clark. As Coroner, Dr. Clark sees the importance of raising funds for mental health services. “We have a mental health crisis in our parish thus we need to be able to better acutely treat those suffering from mental illness. Organizations such as MHA can help us do this. ” Said Dr. Clark.

 

Guests will enjoy fabulous food from City Pork, beverages, and one of the best silent auctions in town. We'll have original artwork, stunning jewelry, sports paraphernalia, trips and much more! Our gaming tables include blackjack, craps, roulette and poker. Live music will be provided by Phil Cangelosi, lead singer of the 484 South Band.

  

All proceeds directly support programs and services for those with mental illness and substance addictions in the Greater Baton Rouge community.
