The concert highlights the skills acquired during Kids’ Orchestra after school music program that begins each September. Instruments include strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion. Kindergarten and first graders incorporate music foundation elements. Students range from fifth-year veterans who joined the program in its inception to children who just received their first instrumental instruction this September. This is one of 11 free concerts of Kids’ Orchestra’s Neighborhood Concert Series.
