LANO's Community Leaders program, which trains and places dedicated professionals for service on local nonprofit Boards, received praise and recognition from one of its current participants in yesterday's Shreveport Times.

The Community Leaders program has been operating with great success under the leadership of LANO North Director Kay Irby since 2006. LANO is now working to bring the program to cities statewide through a variety of public and private partnerships.
