The latest post in LANO President and CEO Ann S. Williamson's blog, For Goodness Sake!, encourages our nonprofit community to take a page from the LSU Tiger playbook and raise a loud, clear voice for our leaders to hear.
Writes Williamson:
"When our voices are in sync and motivating others toward desired achievement, we make a powerful noise indeed. But when the crowd is silent, what message does that send?"
"...With hundreds of elected officials pledging allegiance to Louisiana, and millions rooting for our Tigers today, shouldn't the same aligned energy and clear message be delivered by nonprofits to positively influence our policy makers? Absolutely."
