Call for Applications: The Fundraising Intensive Program

Applications are now open for the Fundraising Intensive Program's
2016-2017 class!

The Fundraising Intensive Program is an eight month course that helps your nonprofit develop practical skills and raise more money.

Over the course of the program, participants meet monthly for group discussions on specific fundraising topics, receiving hands-on homework assignments designed to put skills and ideas to work.  Following the group session, each participating group receives individual coaching that helps to put those ideas into action.

The course is designed so that you will learn by doing, and actively raise funds while you complete the coursework.

Be Part of the 2016 Louisiana State Combined Charitable Campaign! Deadline - March 1, 2016

This past year, employees of the State of Louisiana generated more than $237,000 through the 2015 LA SCCC campaign. 67 participating nonprofit organizations are anticipated to receive donations through this statewide effort.

 

Louisiana is already gearing up for the 2016 State Combined Charitable Campaign!  Once again, state employees will be given the opportunity to contribute, through payroll deduction, to approved health and human service non-profit organizations. The Louisiana Association of United Ways will continue to serve as the Principal Combined Fundraising Organization (PCFO) and will be working in coordination with the Office of State Uniform Payroll (OSUP).

 

All qualifying health and human service non-profits operating within the state of Louisiana are encouraged to apply to be a participating charity. The application is available at www.lasccc.org/application and is due by March 1, 2016. All charity applications will be reviewed and notified of eligibility no later than June 30, 2016.

The Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, a leader in telling Louisiana stories to the world, is offering a professional environment in which cultural innovators can be productive and collaborate with peers and leaders within the sector. With a 40+ year history in capacity building, content development and public program implementation for the cultural sector via grant making and strategic partnerships, the LEH is the best entity to launch and support the first incubator dedicated to cultural innovators.

The Culture-Up Incubator includes shared workspaces designed to foster community and collaboration for Louisiana’s cultural sector. Incubator membership options include access to two conference rooms, a kitchen, overnight storage and complimentary tea and coffee.
