In celebration of the 40th anniversary of our organization, The Family Tree is hosting an Aging Summit. We will welcome National Speaker, Eldercare Expert, and Author of ‘How to take care of old people without losing your marbles,’ Suzanne Blankenship, who will provide a keynote speech and lead a discussion panel on aging.

The Aging Summit will provide tools, guidance, support and actionable steps to lessen frustrations and improve efficiency in the caregiving role for medical and familial persons and for the aging individual. The speaker will guide attendees skillfully through the challenging experience of eldercare and share personally developed tools, identified resources, and showcase organized plans as various eldercare scenarios so that they can better understand the stressors, struggles, and everyday difficulties both in the early and late stages of aging. Upon completion of this period of instruction, each participant will better understand how to be an advocate for the aging individual and better prepare themselves on how to manage the final stages of life.
