Are your employees fired up or burned out?

If they're fired up, chances are you and your team are more productive and innovative and the bottom line reflects high performance. If your employees are burned out or your committed ones need support, find out how you can re-engage them in this interview with author and consultant Michael Stallard.

The case for connection

Research by the Gallup Organization shows fewer than three in 10 Americans are engaged in their jobs. Gallup also estimates the annual cost to the American economy from the approximately 22 million American workers who are extremely negative or "actively disengaged” to be $250 to $300 billion every year. Unless people in an organization feel a strong sense of connection to their work and colleagues, they will never reach their potential as individuals and neither will the organization.

In this author interview, we’ll touch on the highlights from Stallard's book Fired Up or Burned Out: How to Reignite your Team's Passion, Creativity and Productivity below:

  • Find out why a sense of emotional connection is necessary for people and organizations to thrive.
  • Discover the three essential elements to creating a "connection culture” (a culture that increases connection among people).
  • Learn how to apply the elements of a connection culture to increase connection in your organization.
  • Find out how to develop the habits and character strengths that increase connection.
