We invite you to join us for a few minutes on Friday, May 13th at 8:00am as we celebrate their work and hear from the little artists whose STEM based artwork is presented on the 6’ x 80’ International Children’s Mural at Baton Rouge Foreign Language Academic Immersion Magnet (FLAIM). The French, Spanish and Mandarin language immersion elementary school is located at 802 Mayflower St. near downtown Baton Rouge. The children will tell us a little about their original STEM artwork and proudly show us their piece in the mural.

The International Children’s Mural, produced for the International Festival at FLAIM is a collage of artwork that connects STEM classwork to cultures of the foreign languages taught at FLAIM.

We want to thank the FLAIM volunteers including PTO parents, children, administrators, artists and teachers who worked together with Red Stick Project artists and City Year volunteers to produce the mural. They transformed a walkway with a distressed retaining wall into the lovely border of a new outdoor learning area. Please join us to applaud each little ones' creation and to thank those who supported their mural's production.
