As you know the 2016 March/August floods affected more than 100,000 households and the August storm claimed 13 lives. In order to help the citizens you serve and lead, WE NEED YOUR HELP.

We will host an informational meeting Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the State Capitol (4th Floor Press Room) at 11:00 a.m.  You will receive an overview of the program, get your questions answered, and receive materials to share with your constituents.

The Office of Community Development - Disaster Recovery Unit (OCD-DRU) recently launched the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program, funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, to aid homeowners affected by the 2016 floods. The program is designed to help with construction and reimbursements. It does not matter if homeowners have started or completed their recovery process.

Flood-impacted homeowners need your help!  Gov. John Bel Edwards is asking for your help!

If you plan to attend, please send your RSVP to Kia Sims at .
