FREE Training Series on Finding Grants Offered in New Orleans Region

Foundation Center Directory Online, a highly sought-after development tool is now available to all nonprofit organizations in the New Orleans region thanks to a collaborative effort between the Louisiana Association for Nonprofit Organizations (LANO), the Greater New Orleans Foundation, and the Arts Council of New Orleans.

A free training series* is scheduled between October 13 and November 9, 2011, at public locations convenient to New Orleans area nonprofits.  See below listing or LANO's Community Calendar for all dates and locations. 

This database tool provides current, accurate, and comprehensive information on over 98,000 U.S. grantmakers and their grants, drawn from reliable sources, including IRS Form 990s, grantmaker web sites and annual reports, and the grantmakers themselves. The searchable database allows users to select key words to identify the grantmakers that are the best match with their organization and project.

With support from the Greater New Orleans Foundation, this service is being offered free to the public at the LANO New Orleans field office. LANO staff is available to assist users with access and to provide technical assistance on an appointment basis:
